Night Driving

Driving at night increases the risk of accidents and fatalities many folds. An estimated 70% of casualties at night are pedestrians and two wheeler riders. The lack of proper lighting system in Indian roads adds to the woes of drivers driving at night, who then become dependent on just the vehicle lighting system for visibility. A lot of drivers do not understand the difference in skills when it requires to night driving and are oblivious to the dangers that lurk on the roads.

Yatayat – Traffic Management

Traffic management is as important as safe driving. With thousands of vehicles being added to the roads daily, it becomes chaotic with the existing road infrastructure in our country. This kind of management specially calls for in the cities where negotiating the traffic in the roads is nothing less than a labyrinth.

Rahajani – Waylaying

Webster has defined waylaying as to lie in wait for or attack from ambush. The Indian road scenario is full of such incidents where the drivers irrespective of the vehicles they were driving, were getting waylaid.  The concern for road safety prompted our organisation to devise an awareness module where the driver can adopt preventive and precautionary measures against such an attempt. Instances such as the ones below are not uncommon.

Akrosh – Road rage

It is a new urban phenomenon which is also contributing in precious lives being lost in the roads. The increasing intolerance level of drivers towards other road users complimented handsomely by stress of leading a hectic time bound life leads often to a situation where the saying “might is right” gets practically tested in the city roads. Every now and then at every nook and corner weget to see people hurling abuses at fellow road users and even don’t hesitate to get into physical scuffle to the extent that it sometimes leads to deaths.
