Defensive Driving Trainer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Driver Trainer / Road Safety Instructor to deliver high-quality training programs aimed at enhancing road safety and responsible driving practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating drivers on defensive driving techniques, road safety rules, traffic regulations, and vehicle handling skills. This role involves both theoretical and practical training sessions, including assessments and regular updates as per CMVR guidelines. The candidate must have strong communication skills, the ability to connect with the driver community, and a willingness to travel to different training locations.

Experience :  

 Min 10 years experience in Road Safety with experience of 5 years in Defensive Driving Training.

Specific Skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with the driver community effectively.

  • Willingness to travel as part of the training program.

  • Proficient in preparing reports and client presentations.

  • Knowledge of road safety, traffic regulations, and driver behavior.

Responsible For

  • Conduct effective training sessions for drivers using a structured curriculum.

  • Educate drivers on Do's and Don'ts while driving on the road.

  • Explain the basic rules of the road, including traffic signs and their significance.

  • Provide updates and training on Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR) and relevant regulatory changes.

  • Carry out practical assessments of vehicles and evaluate driver performance.

  • Reinforce defensive driving techniques such as maintaining safe distances, avoiding distractions, and anticipating road hazards.

Educational Requirements

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.E.) in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a reputed institute.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 60% marks throughout academics, including:

    • 10th Standard (Secondary Education)

    • 12th Standard (Higher Secondary Education)

    • Graduation

    • Post-Graduation (if applicable)
