DMC Counsellor
Overview
Hubert Ebner (India) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking dynamic and experienced DMC Counsellors with a strong background in road safety and driver management. The role involves conducting defensive driving training, ensuring driver and vehicle readiness, and promoting a culture of safety and compliance. This is a field-intensive role requiring travel across various project sites in India and frequent interaction with commercial vehicle drivers. Ex-servicemen with technical expertise and valid heavy vehicle licenses will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:

Minimum 4-5 years of total experience in Driver Management Centres (DMC).

At least 2 years of hands-on experience in delivering defensive driving training.

Ex-servicemen with strong technical knowledge of vehicles and expert-level driving skills will be given added preference.

Heavy vehicle license is mandatory for ex-servicemen applicants.

Excellent communication skills to engage with driver communities effectively.

Strong ability to counsel and mentor drivers.

Willingness to travel extensively to assigned locations.

Proficient in reporting, documentation, and client presentations.
Responsible For
-
Conduct Toolbox Talks and Defensive Driving Training sessions for commercial vehicle drivers.

Regularly check the physical and mental fitness of drivers.

Inspect vehicle fitness for basic operational safety and compliance.

Verify all driver and vehicle documents as per company and regulatory requirements.

Educate drivers on the organization’s violation policies and road safety protocols.

Conduct pre-trip briefings and post-trip debriefings, including counselling on any enroute violations.

Carry out enroute tracking to ensure adherence to safe driving practices.

Submit reports and maintain documentation as per project/client requirements.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the client or supervisor.

Educational Requirements

B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a reputed institute.

Minimum 60% marks throughout academics (10th, 12th, Graduation & PG, if applicable).

Possession of a valid LMV/HMV Driving License is mandatory.
